CMU Faculty of Engineering Participates in SATU Semiconductor Collaboration Meeting at IIT Bombay, India

The Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, represented by Associate Professor Dr. Ukrit Mankong, Associate Professor Dr. Dondet Tantawiwat, and Dr. Atchariya Puangyod, lecturers from the Department of Electrical Engineering, participated in the SATU Presidents’ Forum Steering Committee Meeting 2026 on March 17, 2026, and attended the SATU Semiconductor Gathering 2026, held from March 16–19, 2026 at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Republic of India.

The meeting served as a collaborative platform for universities within the SATU network, bringing together experts, academics, government agencies, and industry representatives to exchange knowledge on semiconductor technology, workforce development, research commercialization, and international academic and research collaboration.

On this occasion, the CMU delegation also visited semiconductor laboratories and facilities at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay to explore infrastructure development and educational approaches in semiconductor research and education. The knowledge and experience gained from this visit will contribute to the future development of semiconductor education and research at Chiang Mai University.
