ENG CMU Teams Up with JPC Banking to Advance Semiconductor Collaboration and Connect Students with Leading Japanese Companies

The Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Chatchawan Chaichana, Associate Dean, and Associate Professor Dr. Pawarut Jongchansitto, together with Dr. Atchariya Phuangyod, lecturer from the Department of Electrical Engineering, warmly welcomed representatives from the Krungsri Bank Japanese Business Unit (JPC Banking), Bangkok Office. The delegation included Mr. Masafumi Nakayama, Executive Vice President and Head of Division, Japanese Corporate Banking Division 2; Mr. Shota Sugimoto, Head of Japanese Corporate Banking Department 6; Mr. Thanajade Dechananthachai, Engineering Manager, Krungsri Nimble; and Mrs. Thitinan Tiyachananon, Office and Workplace Executive, Krungsri Nimble.
The visit was held to discuss potential collaboration in the field of Semiconductor technology, focusing on the organization of academic seminars and the exploration of future internship opportunities for students.
The meeting took place on Friday, 29 May 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in Gear Room 201, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Engineering Office Building, Chiang Mai University.
