Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University Welcomes Faculty of Pharmacy Delegations for Benchmarking on International Management and International Curriculum

On Monday, September 14, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, the Faculty of Engineering at Chiang Mai University welcomed a delegation of executives, faculty members, and staff from the Faculty of Pharmacy, CMU, led by Professor of Practice Dr. Supat Jiranusornkul, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

The visiting delegation was warmly received by the Faculty of Engineering’s executive team, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thongchai Fongsamootr, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Asst. Prof. Korrakot Yaibuathet Thippayawong, D.Eng., Vice Dean and Director of the Chiang Mai International Engineering School (CM-IES); and Ms. Usanee Pongsawaleesri, Head of Chiang Mai International Engineering School (CM-IES).

The purpose of this visit was to conduct a benchmarking study and exchange knowledge regarding the operational guidelines and processes for establishing an international education center. Key discussions focused on supporting international degree programs, effective international curriculum management, and strategies for expanding academic cooperation with international partner institutions and overseas organizations.

The session took place at Gear Room 201, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Engineering Office Building, fostering a productive dialogue aimed at enhancing internationalization across faculties at Chiang Mai University.
