ENG CMU × Tai & Chyun Discuss Collaboration to Enhance Internship and Cooperative Education Opportunities in Taiwan
On 4 February 2026, the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Faifan Tantakitti, Assistant Dean, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Nat Vorayot, Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and staff from the Chiang Mai International Engineering School (CM-IES), warmly welcomed a delegation from Tai & Chyun, comprising:
- Mr. Yi Dai, President of Tai & Chyun Associates Industries, Inc.
- Dr. Bancha Thanapiyawanit, Director of Thai Operations (Thailand Market), Tai & Chyun Engineering Service (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
The visit aimed to exchange views and discuss potential collaboration in facilitating internship and cooperative education programs for engineering students in Taiwan. The discussions focused on creating valuable opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in international industrial settings, while simultaneously enhancing their professional competencies, language skills, and adaptability to overseas working environments.
The collaboration between the Faculty of Engineering and Tai & Chyun has been continuously strengthened since 2024, with the company consistently supporting the placement of students in cooperative education programs. Such initiatives not only provide students with real-world work experience abroad but also broaden their perspectives on Taiwanese culture and professional practices, forming a strong foundation for preparing graduates to compete confidently in the global labor market.
