Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University Welcomes Visiting Professors for Research Exchange

On Friday, 6 March 2026, the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University (CMU), welcomed two visiting professors for a research discussion and academic exchange: Prof. Hamid Alinejad Rokny from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, and Prof. Medhi Hosseinzadeh from Duy Tan University, Vietnam.

The meeting aimed to explore potential research collaborations, particularly in artificial intelligence and its applications in medical and engineering domains.

During the visit, both sides exchanged ideas on ongoing research activities and discussed opportunities for future international collaboration between their institutions. The discussion also highlighted the growing importance of interdisciplinary research combining AI, engineering, and medical sciences.

The Faculty of Engineering looks forward to strengthening global academic partnerships and fostering innovative research initiatives with international scholars.
