Engineering CMU Expands Academic Partnership with Assumption College Lampang to Empower the Next Generation in Robotics and AI

            On 16 February 2026 at 3:00 PM, the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, held a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with Assumption College Lampang at Gear Room 201, Chairatchakarn Building, Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University.

            The MoU aims to promote and strengthen academic collaboration in the areas of education, research, innovation, and academic services, particularly in robotics engineering and artificial intelligence, in order to enhance the capabilities of faculty members and students and to prepare them for the rapidly evolving digital world.

            The signing ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Thongchai Fongsamootr, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, and Brother Dr. Witthaya Thepkom, Director of Assumption College Lampang, who signed the agreement as representatives of their respective institutions.

            The ceremony was conducted in a warm and cordial atmosphere, with executives and faculty members from both institutions in attendance. The event reflected the strong partnership and shared commitment of both parties to fostering long-term collaboration between the higher education and secondary education sectors for the benefit of future generations.
