Faculty of Engineering, CMU Welcomes HAUT President and Witnesses University-Level MOU Signing

On Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the Office of the University, Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, M.D., Ph.D., President of Chiang Mai University, along with Assistant Professor Chirawath Phatsara, Dr.Agr., Vice President, and university executives, welcomed a high-level delegation from Henan University of Technology (HAUT), People’s Republic of China, led by Professor Wu Zhishen, President, accompanied by a delegation of four, on the occasion of their official visit to Chiang Mai University to foster bilateral relations.

On this occasion, Associate Professor Thongchai Fongsamootr, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, joined in welcoming the delegation and served as a witness for the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on academic cooperation between Chiang Mai University and Henan University of Technology (HAUT). The collaboration aims to promote academic development, drive joint research initiatives, and facilitate the exchange and capacity building of personnel and students between the two institutions, paving the way for profound future cooperation in engineering and interdisciplinary fields.
