Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University Strengthens International Collaboration with Sungkyunkwan University, Republic of Korea

              Wednesday January 28, 2026, Associate Professor Thongchai Fongsamootr, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, joined the welcome and discussion with Prof. Ji-Beom Yoo, President of Sungkyunkwan University, Republic of Korea, and the delegation during their visit to Chiang Mai University. The meeting aimed to exchange views and explore opportunities to further strengthen academic and research collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in the field of engineering and related disciplines.

              The discussion focused on potential areas of cooperation, including joint research initiatives, student and faculty exchange programs, and other academic activities that could enhance international engagement. This collaboration is expected to strengthen the Faculty of Engineering’s academic and research capacity while providing students and staff with greater access to global academic networks.
