CMU Engineering Discussed Academic Collaboration with National University of Laos

The Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Thongchai Fongsamootr, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Korrakot Yaibuathet Tippayawong, Vice Dean, held discussions on academic cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering, National University of Laos, on the morning of 14 January 2026 at the Faculty of Engineering, National University of Laos, Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the faculty’s administrators and academic staff.

The discussions focused on promoting cooperation in several key areas, including joint curriculum development, research and integrated research collaboration, as well as the exchange of students and personnel. The meeting aimed to enhance academic capacity and strengthen the collaborative network between the two institutions, contributing to sustainable development in engineering education and research at the regional level.
