Engineering Student Earns Place in ASEAN Cyber Shield Exchange Program 2025 in South Korea

Mr. Pattarapol Na Nakorn, an undergraduate student (Student ID: 650610796) from the Computer Engineering program at Chiang Mai University, has been selected as a student representative of Chiang Mai University to participate in the ASEAN Cyber Shield Exchange Student Program 2025 at Kangwon National University, Republic of Korea. The program took place from February 28 to December 6, 2025, and was fully funded throughout the entire participation period.

The program aims to enhance participants’ knowledge and hands-on experience in cybersecurity, digital threat management, and related legal and ethical issues. Learning activities include academic study, knowledge exchange, and collaborative projects with students and experts from ASEAN countries.

This selection reflects the strong academic potential of Chiang Mai University students and represents a valuable opportunity to develop advanced cybersecurity skills in an international context. The experience gained is expected to contribute to the development of highly skilled digital professionals for the country in the future.
