Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University Welcomes Representatives from the University of Exeter for Academic Collaboration Discussions

On Tuesday, March 11, 2026, the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Korakot Yaibuathet Tippayawong, Vice Dean, welcomed Ms. Amy Chandler, Regional Manager for Southeast Asia from University of Exeter, United Kingdom, and Ms. Napassorn Soontracharn, Franchise Director from StudyIn.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss potential academic collaboration and to introduce the University of Exeter in order to expand opportunities for Faculty of Engineering students to pursue master’s degree studies.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged information on their academic programs and operational approaches. They also discussed potential pathways for future collaboration, including the development of Joint Degree and Double Degree programs between the two institutions.
The Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University aims to enhance the international capabilities of its students and staff. Establishing partnerships with leading international institutions is considered an important step toward achieving this goal.
