The delegation was led by Mr. Chang Shih-Chien, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Mr. Amit K. Dubey, Head of Talent Acquisition for Southeast Asia. During their visit to Chiang Mai University, the delegation paid a courtesy call on the President of Chiang Mai University and presented scholarships to 10 master’s students from the Faculty of Engineering.
Each scholarship provided financial support for tuition fees and living expenses at a rate of THB 15,000 per month. The scholarship presentation ceremony was held from 9.30 to 10.00 a.m. at The ML Pin Malakul Meeting Room, the Office of Chiang Mai University.
This occasion marked the second consecutive round of scholarship support provided by Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. In the previous round, the company awarded scholarships to 5 students of the Department of Electrical Engineering, enabling them to undertake short-term study and research activities in Taiwan. The experience broadened the students’ perspectives, enhanced their academic knowledge, and strengthened their skills in working within an international environment.
The scholarship support not only helped alleviate the students’ financial burden relating to tuition fees and living expenses but also enabled them to focus more fully on developing their academic knowledge, research capabilities, and professional skills. In addition, the initiative strengthened the connection between university education and the practical application of knowledge in the industrial sector.
