ENGINEERING CMU Hosts a Special Lecture on “Energy Efficiency for Robotics Systems, and Robotics Research at the University of Udine, Italy” by Prof. Lorenzo Scalera

On June 17, 2026, the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, had the distinct honor of hosting a special lecture by Prof. Lorenzo Scalera from the Polytechnic Department of Engineering and Architecture, University of Udine, Italy. The lecture, entitled “Energy Efficiency for Robotics Systems, and Robotics Research at the University of Udine, Italy,” was delivered to faculty members and students of the Faculty of Engineering.
Held at the Lecture Room in the RTT Building, Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, this academic event was organized as part of the researcher exchange program under the project “SME 5.0: A Strategic Roadmap Towards the Next Level of Intelligent, Sustainable and Human-Centred SMEs.” Funded by European Union’s Horizon under the framework of The Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (Rise) The initiative aims to foster the exchange of academic knowledge and research advancements in robotics systems, while further strengthening international collaborative networks between the institutions.
