The initiative aims to prepare Lao technicians and energy sector personnel for the transition from internal combustion engines to digital-age vehicles, aligning with the Lao government&#8217;s ambitious goal of reaching 30% EV integration by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project emphasized both theoretical and hands-on learning to ensure participants can professionally diagnose and maintain complex electric systems. The training was led by expert faculty and private sector specialists, including <strong>Professor Dr. Apichat Sopadang<\/strong>, <strong>Assistant Professor Dr. Anucha Promwangkwa<\/strong> from Chiang Mai University, and <strong>Mr. Weerasak Paenphuang<\/strong> from WPEV Co., Ltd. They shared expertise across key topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Anatomy of an EV: Deep dive into lithium-ion battery arrays and regenerative braking systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Live Diagnostics: Troubleshooting the complex software that serves as the &#8220;brain&#8221; of modern EVs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Circular Economy and Supply Chain: Recycling old batteries for solar energy storage solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop successfully attracted over 50 participants.
