From January 7 to February 27, 2026<\/strong>, graduate students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University (CMU)<\/strong> participated in an academic visit and knowledge exchange at the Department of Engineering Sciences, University of Agder, Norway<\/strong>. Mr. Thanakrit Maneerat<\/strong>, Ph.D. student in Energy Engineering Mr. Nitthinun Borirak<\/strong>, Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering Ms. Bernadetha Grace Wisdayanti<\/strong> and Ms. Zulfa Hana Maulida<\/strong>, Master\u2019s student in Agricultural Engineering The students were supervised by Associate Professor Dr. Woradej Manosroi<\/strong>, Coordinator of the ECO-Wind Project<\/strong>. The visit aimed to foster academic collaboration and research cooperation<\/strong> between the two institutions through study visits, knowledge exchange, and discussions on organizing workshops related to wind turbine maintenance<\/strong>. The activities also focused on enhancing expertise in the field of wind energy, particularly through the application of digital technologies for condition-based maintenance of wind turbines and related components<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ECO-Wind Project<\/strong> aims to promote and enhance the utilization of wind energy in Southeast Asia<\/strong> by strengthening capabilities in wind turbine maintenance and facilitating the transfer of modern technologies. The project is supported by funding from the Erasmus+<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
