On 14 November 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Korrakot Yaibuathet Tippayawong<\/strong>, Associate Dean and Director of the Chiang Mai International Engineering School (CM-IES), together with Ms. Usanee Pongsawaleesri<\/strong>, Head of the CM-IES Office, warmly welcomed distinguished guests from Qinghai Province, People\u2019s Republic of China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegation was led by Mr. Yang Zhiwen, Vice Governor of Qinghai Province<\/strong>, along with presidents from Qinghai Institute of Technology<\/strong> and Qinghai Vocational and Technical University<\/strong>. The meeting took place at the M.L. Pin Malakul Reception Room, University Office Building 1, on the occasion of their courtesy visit to Chiang Mai University\u2019s executive leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both parties engaged in discussions to explore opportunities for academic collaboration between institutions in Qinghai Province and Chiang Mai University, with a particular focus on railway system technology. The delegation also visited the laboratories of the Advanced Railway Civil and Foundation Engineering Center (CMU-RailCFC) at the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
