\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 On Monday, February 10, 2023, at 10:00 AM local time in Australia. The Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Thongchai Fongsamootr<\/em><\/strong>, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, along with Associate Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Korrakot Yaibuathet Tipayawong<\/em><\/strong>, faculty members from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, including Professor Dr. Nakorn Tipayawong, Assistant Professor Dr. Pana Suthakul<\/em><\/strong>, and Miss Pitchanan Muenprasitwetch<\/em><\/strong>, a master’s student in Mechanical Engineering, visited The University of New South Wales (UNSW) to discuss academic and research collaboration.<\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This visit to UNSW aimed to further develop the project titled “Analysis of Functionally Graded Microstructures with Physics-Informed Neural Networks”<\/em>, which is part of the Big Bang International Projects initiative, promoting international collaboration for joint research, funding, and innovation development. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Professor Nasser Khalili, Head of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Dr. Elena Atroshchenko, Senior Lecturer.<\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Additionally, Chiang Mai University delegation had the opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art laboratories at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, which serve as a hub for advanced research and technological development in civil and environmental engineering. The visit provided an excellent opportunity for knowledge exchange and the exploration of future joint research initiatives.<\/p>
