The Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, led by Assoc<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Prof<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Dr<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Thongchai Fongsamootr<\/em><\/strong>, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, embarked on a visit to King’s College London in England<\/strong> on 20th<\/sup> March 2024. The delegation, including Asst<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Prof<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Dr<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Chatchawan Chaichana<\/em><\/strong>, Assoc<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Prof<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Dr<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Santi Phithakkitnukoon<\/em><\/strong>, Dr<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Jenjira Jaimunk<\/em><\/strong> and the team from College of Arts, Media and Technology, CMU,\u00a0Assoc<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Prof<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Dr<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Worawit Janchai<\/em><\/strong>, Dr<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Danaitun Pongpatcharatrontep<\/em><\/strong> and Dr<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Pakinee Ariya<\/em><\/strong>, aimed to explore collaboration opportunities with one of the world’s top 50 universities.<\/p>

Supported by Chiang Mai University and the “<\/strong>Person to Organization Program <\/strong>(<\/strong>P2O<\/strong>)”<\/strong> the team secured funding for their project on Cyber Security<\/strong> and Data Privacy<\/strong>. Discussions during the visit centered on fostering mutual collaboration, resulting in the agreement to establish a memorandum of understanding (MOU)<\/strong> between the two prestigious institutions.<\/p>

The delegation met with key representatives from King’s College London, including Prof<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Luca Vigano<\/em><\/strong>, Vice Dean NMES, Prof<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong>Maribel Fernandez<\/em><\/strong>, Deputy Head of the Department of Informatics and Edward Danks<\/em><\/strong> from the Global Engagement team. Deliberations focused on exploring avenues for collaboration in the field of cyber security.<\/p>

This visit marks a significant step forward in strengthening international partnerships and advancing research in cyber security between Chiang Mai University and King’s College London.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
